A visit from Chad

Accompanied by Jürgen Marquardt, 1st Chairman of the Lernen-Helfen-Leben association, the graduate engineers Abdallah Diop and his wife Ursula Nica visited us. Both are planning to set up an eco-camp and an educational facility in N’Djamene, Chad, on 10 hectares of land they have already purchased.

An experimental garden is planned where visitors and trainees can learn about the methods and benefits of composting. Further training modules are to be offered for gardeners and farmers. They were very interested to learn how Arbeit und Dritte Welt built a workshop from over 90% recycled materials.
