1x 20′ container dispatched to Benoye in Chad

We had already packed and shipped several containers for the Lernen-Helfen-Leben (L-H-L) association in the past. This time it was a 20′ shopping container, which was first refurbished by our metal workshop and given a new protective coating. We then packed solar equipment and refurbished tools. This required a great deal of care, as a large number of sensitive solar modules had to be carefully secured against slipping.

The recipient is the Jarabe Association, which will install a solar-powered pump and a photovoltaic system in Benoye in Chad. The pump will supply the “Collège des l’Amitié” school and around 500 local residents with water. The photovoltaic system will supply a radio station with electricity. This was also necessary because the generator installed on site was not generating continuous power and was also very expensive.

We were delighted to be able to support this L-H-L project sponsored by the Lower Saxony Bingo-Lotto Foundation.
