On behalf of Dr. Eberhard Rumpf from Burgdorf, financed by the documentation center on war events and peace work Sievershausen e.V., we packed a 40′ container for a hospital and a vocational school in Kiryandongo, Uganda on 23.11.2022.
The hospital received:
Gynaecological instruments and examination chairs, bandages, medical masks, microscopes, surgical instruments, hospital beds, sterilization equipment, infusion stands, ultrasound equipment, a dentist’s chair with accessories, walking aids and various other donations in kind.
The vocational school received:
Tools for shoemakers – these included a shoemaker’s sewing machine, punch pliers, screwdrivers, shoemaker’s hammers, shoemaker’s anvil.
Metalworking tools – a vice and toolbox with various tools such as side cutters, combination pliers, chisels, sliding gauge, hexagon wrench set, precision feeler gauge, engineer’s hammer, screwdriver, folding rule, grip pliers, tinsnips.
Woodworking tools – screwdrivers, files, hammers, saws, folding rulers, carpenter’s pencils, glass cutters.
